Conductive Education has become an extremely important part of Madison's Journey.  We participated in our first session of Conductive Ed when Madison was three.  We have travelled far and wide, and have come to really enjoy our little journeys.  We have seen some amazing places and met some incredible people along the way.  As of the summer of 2011, she has participated in four month-long sessions of this incredible method of therapy.  We will continue persuing Conductive Ed as longs as Madison needs to it, likes it, and benefits from it.

Conductive Education is a fascinating concept, originating from Hungary.  Most of the "Conductors" that have worked with Madison come directly from Hungary, visiting the states for these special month-long camps.  We have learned SO much from all of these special ladies, who include:  Gyorgi, Judit, Kriztina, Marika, and another Judit!

In July of 2007, we traveled to Michigan and attended a Conductive Education session at the Condutive Learning Center in Grand Rapids.  Click on the link below to read about our amazing experience:

In November of 2007, we stayed a bit closer to home, and participated in a Conductive Education Session at Beginning Steps to Independence in San Jose.  To read about that trip, click below:

July 2008, we returned to Beginning Steps.  Madison's longest stint yet - 4 weeks, 6 hours a day:

We realized Madison might benefit from another session of Conductive Education Program.  The center in San Jose closed, but we found a great new program in Santa Rosa.  Here is our Journal for our time there:
