Madison works very hard at all of her therapies.  She has been receiving Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy since the Fall of 2005.

Maddie is working on hanging on to the ropes.  This is not something that has come naturally to her, but she's starting to get the hang of it!


Maddie's Current Schedule - 2/2009
Mondays,  SH Preschool, Physical Therapy with Amy, Occupational Therapy with Sharlyn, Visit from Behaviorist, Andrew
Tuesdays, SH Preschool
Wednesdays, SH Preschool, Speech Therapy with Jamie
Thursdays, SH Preschool, Physical Therapy with Amy, Horse Therapy with Kim
Fridays, SH Preschool, Neuromuscular Reeducation with Alice

Madison particpates in therapeutic horse-back riding lessons through a place called Care-ousel.  This is an amazing therapy, and can work wonders with kids with Madison's condition.  The rhythm and gait of the horse help Madison's balance and trunk strength in a very natural, productive way.
